Is the weight management work-up covered by my insurance?

PVMG accepts most PPO insurance plans. We recommend checking with your insurance company if you have questions on coverage.

How long does the initial work-up take?

The first visit is approximately 45 minutes. It will take several visits to complete the entire work-up.

If medication is needed, how do I obtain it?

Our team of authorization specialists will work with your insurance company to obtain authorization. Not all insurance plans cover weight loss medications. We encourage you to check with your insurance plan.

Is there a guarantee that I will lose weight?

Not all people will lose their desired weight.  Our goal is to promote and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
