Palos Verdes Medical Group is here to help during these difficult and uncertain times. We place our patients and their well-being at the forefront of everything we do. This is why we are offering COVID-19 virus testing (PCR), antigen testing, COVID-19 antibody testing, and COVID-19 vaccines and boosters (including the bivalent booster). Testing is open to both our patients and community members of all ages. We offer COVID-19 vaccines for people ages 6 months and older. COVID-19 boosters are available for all patients who qualify.

Please schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 test or vaccine online or email us at appts@pvmedgroup.com to schedule. To schedule online, simply click “book an appointment” under the COVID-19 drop down menu above. For COVID-19 testing, please bring your insurance card and come to our office during your scheduled date/time. If you are a new patient, you may download and print our patient form to bring to your appointment. We will also have patient forms available. COVID-19 vaccines and tests are administered inside of our office in Suite 319. If you are a new patient coming in for a COVID-19 vaccine, please bring your insurance card and print and fill out our new patient form.

At this time, COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 vaccines are covered at no cost by most insurance plans. As always, we encourage you to call your insurance company with any questions.

COVID-19 VACCINES:
We currently have the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for adults and children  ages 6 months and older. Palos Verdes Medical Group is offering COVID-19 boosters, including the updated (bivalent) booster, for patients who qualify. Click here to see if you qualify for the updated (bivalent) booster.

TEST TYPE:
We are using PCR and antigen tests and testing via an interior nasal swab.

TESTING LOCATION:

COVID-19 testing and vaccines are administered in our office (Suite 319). We recommend parking on the top (3rd) floor of the parking structure for easy access to our office. There is an entrance to the parking structure on Indian Peak Road that takes you directly to the top level. Once you enter the parking structure from Indian Peak Road, veer to the left (away from the movie theater) to park closest to our office.

TEST RESULTS:

Results are provided same-day. You will be notified via email or phone of your results. Please remember that we are available 24/7 for our patients! Those coming to us just for COVID-19 testing also have access to our healthcare professionals for COVID-19 counseling and questions!
