Our goal is to help you and your family stay healthy and safe during this unusual time. We encourage you to be proactive with your and your family’s health. Do this by maintaining your relationship with your current PVMG physician and visiting our offices for your ongoing medical needs. Children need to stay up to date with their vaccinations and if you have an ongoing medical condition, you need to stay current with your check ups and medications. Schedule an appointment online or call us today.

Drive thru COVID-19 testing for virus and antibodies now available for all ages. No symptoms needed. Schedule an appointment online or call now.

Palos Verdes Medical Group is here to help during these difficult and uncertain times. We place our patients and their well-being at the forefront of everything we do. This is why we are offering both COVID-19 virus testing and COVID-19 antibody testing. Testing is open to both our patients and community members of all ages. No COVID-19 symptoms necessary!

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 virus and/or antibody test online or give us a call
  2. Email us your paperwork and photo of your insurance card (front and back)
  3. One of our healthcare providers will contact you for a telehealth appointment prior to your test
  4. Come to our drive through testing site during your scheduled date/time

In order to keep you safe and avoid crowding, testing is done by appointment only through our quick and convenient drive-thru COVID-19 testing site. Our drive-thru is located on the 4th (top) floor of the parking garage of the Promenade on the Peninsula mall. There is an entrance to the top floor of the parking garage on Indian Peak Road.

Prior to getting tested we ask that you complete a short telehealth visit with one of our healthcare providers. During this telehealth visit you will speak with a PVMG healthcare provider about any past or present COVID-19 symptoms. If you have had no symptoms, you will be asked about potential COVID-19 exposures. Our healthcare provider will then determine which COVID-19 test is right for you. At this time our testing process will be explained thoroughly to you. It is important to us that you are comfortable and have had the opportunity to ask any questions. Our provider will then schedule you for either a COVID-19 virus test or COVID-19 antibody test.

We are available for telehealth visits 7 days a week, as our hours have remained the same during this pandemic. COVID-19 virus testing and antibody testing are available Monday through Friday. We have typically been receiving COVID-19 virus test results back from the lab within 2 to 3 days. We will call or email you with your COVID-19 virus test results as soon as we receive them, regardless of what day it is! We have two different COVID-19 antibody tests. Results for the COVID-19 ELISA antibody test (blood draw) also take about 2 to 3 days. Results for the COVID-19 finger prick antibody test take about 10-15 minutes to get back. We ask that you wait in your car until we receive the results. Our healthcare provider will then discuss the results with you and provide you with any necessary counseling. Please remember that we are available 24/7 for our patients! Those coming to us just for COVID-19 testing also have unlimited access to our healthcare professionals for COVID-19 counseling and questions for however long they need!

If you would like to get tested for the COVID-19 virus or COVID-19 antibodies, please schedule an appointment online or call our office at 310-544-6858 to schedule an appointment.

A friendly reminder that our office is fully equipped to continue to care for ALL of our patients during this time. We continue to stay open and help patients in all capacities and across all specialties. Do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time.

Our research facility has been chosen as 1 of 11 sites in the world to conduct a clinical trial for a COVID-19 vaccine! We are currently seeking healthy patients who have never tested positive for COVID-19 and do not have any COVID-19 antibodies. Patients must be 18 and older to participate. This study is opened to a very limited amount of participants so we urge you to act quickly! For more information, click here.

If you are positive for COVID-19 antibodies and are interested in donating your plasma, check out the American Red Cross and UCLA for information.
