Our goal is to help you and your family stay healthy and safe during this unusual time. We encourage you to be proactive with your and your family’s health. Do this by maintaining your relationship with your current PVMG physician and visiting our offices for your ongoing medical needs. Palos Verdes Medical Group is here to help during these difficult and uncertain times. We place our patients and their well-being at the forefront of everything we do. This is why we are offering both COVID-19 virus testing and COVID-19 antibody testing. Testing is open to both our patients and community members of all ages. No COVID-19 symptoms necessary! 

In order to keep you safe and avoid crowding, testing is done by appointment only through our quick and convenient drive-thru COVID-19 testing site. Our drive-thru is located on the 4th (top) floor of the parking garage of the Promenade on the Peninsula mall. There is an entrance to the top floor of the parking garage on Indian Peak Road.

Prior to getting tested we ask that you complete a short telehealth visit with one of our healthcare providers. During this telehealth visit you will speak with a PVMG healthcare provider about any past or present COVID-19 symptoms. If you have had no symptoms, you will be asked about potential COVID-19 exposures. Our healthcare provider will then determine which COVID-19 test is right for you. At this time our testing process will be explained thoroughly to you. It is important to us that you are comfortable and have had the opportunity to ask any questions. Our provider will then schedule you for either a COVID-19 virus test or COVID-19 antibody test. 

We are available for telehealth visits 7 days a week, as our hours have remained the same during this pandemic. COVID-19 virus testing and antibody testing are available Monday through Friday. We have typically been receiving COVID-19 virus test results back from the lab within 2 to 3 days. We will call you with your COVID-19 virus test results as soon as we receive them, regardless of what day it is! Results for the COVID-19 antibody test take about 10-15 minutes to get back. We ask that you wait in your car until we receive the results. Our healthcare provider will then discuss the results with you and provide you with any necessary counseling. Please remember that we are available 24/7 for our patients! Those coming to us just for COVID-19 testing also have unlimited access to our healthcare professionals for COVID-19 counseling and questions for however long they need!
